		Objectives
		To conduct research work on contemporary political, social, economic and other issues affecting democracy.
		To assist democratize political parties and national government.
		To strengthen solidarity among organizations working for strengthening pluralist social democratic political system.
		To work for greater participation of women, youth and socially marginalized groups.
		To conduct leadership trainings and interaction programs.
		To conduct lectures on contemporary issues and share knowledge.
		Publish books, working papers and articles on specialized themes.
		To create awareness on the importance of democracy by strengthening resource base and documentation center with relevant materials on democracy especially historical documents, classical and rare publications.
		To preserve records of democratization process in Nepal and abroad.
		To make relevant information accessible to interested public.
		To share information on contemporary political issues by organizing workshops and seminars.
		To network and develop partnership with similar national and international organizations for knowledge and information sharing to strengthen democracy.
